All players must be eligible to represent a Full Member Nation of the WSF and have an activated SPIN
Registration. All designated officials e.g. player / team managers and coaches must also have an activated
SPIN Registration (but coaches are not required to have a WSF Coach qualification).
SCHEDULE OF MATCHES

PLAYING ORDER OF POOLS
With 1-8 teams competing (under special approval), all teams will play in two Pools at Stage 1. There will be a cross-over semi-final at Stage 2. Dead rubbers will not be played in stage 2.
Team Composition. Ties shall be contested by Teams of two men and two women representing an MNF. Only one team may represent an MNF.
Format. Entries shall be restricted to no more than 8 Teams from eligible MNFs.
Playing Order. Woman #2, Man #1, Woman #1, Man #2 OR Man #2, Woman #1, Man #1, Woman #2 by toss.
Match Scoring. All matches will be played to a best of 5 games to 7 points. At 6-6, the game will also be played to 7 points.
Tie Scoring. A team will be awarded points for winning a match as below:
Women #1 & Man #1 – 2 points
Woman #2 & Man #2 – 1 point
For each Tie (stage 1), 6 points are the maximum a team can win. Either 6-0, 5-1 or 4-2. In the event of a draw, the points will be shared 3-3.
KEY GUIDELINES
The event shall be played under the current rules of the game and the following bespoke regulations as endorsed by the WSF Championships Commission.
PLAYERS ON COURT
- All Team members must be present at the allocated court for the Tie and the first player must be ready to play at the scheduled start time for the Tie. (A minimum of THREE players must be in attendance in order for the TIE to start)
- If any player is not in attendance, all other players must move up the order and that (or those) match(es) will be forfeited with the score being recorded as 7-0, 7-0, 7-0.
- Players arriving after the scheduled start time for the Tie cannot be reinstated in a team. The Team Manager has the right to appeal to the WSF Technical Delegate in the event of force majeure.
- The first player must be ready on court to play at the Tie scheduled start time as stated above, and players competing in the following matches in a tie must be ready on court to start within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the preceding match or the match will be awarded to their opponent, unless the Technical Delegate decides otherwise due to exceptional circumstances.
